In a remarkable stride toward sustainability and national service, the Diti Devika Foundation has facilitated a groundbreaking Solar Energy Project for the Border Security Force (BSF) in collaboration with one of the top Indian conglomerates. This initiative aims not only to reduce carbon footprints but to enhance the quality of life for BSF jawans posted at remote border locations, where electricity is often unreliable or unavailable. This installation was done at Zabarwan and was completed at two posts – one at ~8000 feet and another at ~6000 feet, both of which are inaccessible by road.
With the installation of solar-powered infrastructure, the Foundation is empowering our frontline heroes with clean, renewable energy—providing reliable lighting for camps, improving communications, and supporting basic amenities like fans and charging units in tough terrain.
The project is more than a technological upgrade. It is a gesture of respect and solidarity, acknowledging the harsh conditions our BSF personnel endure to protect the nation. In these remote and challenging areas, even small comforts can make a significant difference in morale, health, and efficiency.
